Manjay is a modern Caribbean restaurant concept born in Miami that celebrates the vibrant, bold flavors of the islands with a contemporary twist. Rooted in authentic dishes influenced by Jamaican, Haitian and broader Caribbean culinary traditions, Manjay brings rich, soulful food to fast-casual dining settings, while honoring the heritage and spirit of island cuisine.

Jastor approached Manjay with a strategic focus on translating the depth and diversity of Caribbean food culture into a clear, expressive brand identity. The value Jastor brought to the project was in defining a visual and narrative framework that reflects the passion, integrity and soul behind the cuisine, while also positioning the restaurant as a contemporary, accessible destination in Miami’s dynamic food scene.
The design system developed for Manjay leverages vibrant visual cues inspired by Caribbean aesthetics, combining bold typography, expressive color and graphic energy that evokes rhythm, warmth and movement.

Manjay’s identity captures the essence of Caribbean culture — lively, bold, heartfelt and rooted in tradition yet open to modern interpretation. The visual language communicates warmth and character without overstating itself, reinforcing the emotional connection guests feel with flavorful food, convivial atmosphere and cultural celebration.
IDENTITY
The result is a scalable and recognizable identity that supports Manjay’s continued growth across multiple locations and formats — from food halls and food trucks to standalone restaurants. By aligning the restaurant’s cultural roots with a clear visual voice and strategic design execution, Jastor helped establish Manjay as a compelling modern Caribbean dining destination that resonates with locals and visitors alike.
