JASTOR is a branding and advertising agency, or as they label themselves “Brand Imageneers”. Jason Torres, the principal and creative director has more than 15 years of experience in advertising, marketing and brand development. Jason started his career working for traditional ad agencies like McAnn and describes the beginning as “that time when most advertising companies did not have a branding department”; this is where Jason took charge and began constructing a firm specializing in brand development from start to finish, taking care of every aspect of the brand from identity, consumer experience, web, packaging, to environmental design and everything in between.

JASTOR primarily focus on the food service industry and hopes to become the key branding firm for the restaurants in Miami.

After expanding time in Wynwood the last couple of years interacting with artist and noticing the success of friends like Cesar Morales (Wood Tavern) and Andrew Perez (2alas), he was excited to take a new space in the neighborhood. JASTOR is currently working with The Daily Creative Food Co. on their full re-branding in preparation of opening their new store on 959 West Avenue on Miami Beach. JASTOR has previously contributed to branding and positioning for many successful restaurant concepts in Miami including Salsa Fiesta, Burger & Beer Joint, Kukaramakara, Hibachi Noodle Bar among others.

Branding for AIGA’s Latin American Design Conference

We are happy to announce that Jastor+Dest will be creating the brand identity for the AIGA Miami: Latin American Design Conference.

Jastor+Dest is a creative, branding and design consulting agency with offices in Coral Gables, Florida. Jastor+Dest Named Agency of Record For Kukaramakara

Jastor+Dest, The leading performance advertising, branding and design company with offices in Coral Gables , FL. Announces their selection as Agency of Record for Kukaramakara the live music, latino-oriented night-venue located in the distinctive Brickell Neighborhood in Miami, FL.

Kukaramakara first hired Jastor+Dest, to develop the brand concept and image for its affiliate upscale restaurant “HOGAO by Kukaramakara” and has since expanded into the Agency of Record assignment.

Jastor+Dest Named agency of record for Salsa Fiesta Urban Mex Grill

“The intent is to position Salsa Fiesta Urban Mexican Grill brand as the ultimate casual Mexican spot in the city of Miami”, said Jason Torres, Creative Director and principal at J+D. “We saw this as an opportunity to exemplify Salsa Fiesta’s food quality and urban approach as the core of the brand expression”.

Since opening in the early 2000’s in Venezuela, Salsa Fiesta has rapidly grown from a food court  Mall Mexican alternative into an international casual restaurant chain/

With an opportunity to differentiate the Salsa Fiesta brand from others in the restaurant industry, the new design language provides a graphic impact standing out of the massive visual arena of the market (Over 1,200 restaurants in the same category nationally). The original imagery has been transformed to a simple, sleek and straight to the point design.
The dine-in menu, as well as the take out packaging products, introduce the clientele to the new branding with bold and simple words, focusing in the usability.  “There is a Fiesta in your Neighborhood”,  “Guess what I’m gonna eat?” and  “Holy Guacamole it’s Handmade” ‘ are some the tag words used in the marketing strategy. Their function is to send a message to the young consumer.

J+D created and designed the company’s website, dine-in and to go menus, to go bags, to go containers, environmental signage for in-store locations, stationary, business cards as well as the presence in social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
